2017년 PHP 7.0 버전이 공식적으로 릴리즈 되었습니다. 따라서, 워드프레스를 사용하시는분들은 PHP 7.0 버전을 설치하여 이용할 수 있습니다.

그러나, 그 전에 반드시 운영하는 워드프레스 블로그의 PHP 버전 확인 및 테마와 플러그인들의 호환성을 반드시 확인해야합니다.

현재 사용하는 PHP 버전 확인 방법 (Install Display PHP Version)

• Display PHP version 플러그인을 설치하면 대시보드에서 사용중인 워드프레스 테마명 바로 밑에 현재 사용하는 PHP 버전이 나타나게 됩니다.

테마와 플러그인들의 PHP 호환성 확인 방법 (Install PHP Compatibility Checker)

• PHP Compatibility Checker 플러그인을 설치하면 관리자 메뉴 - 도구(Tools) - PHP Compatibility를 차례대로 클릭합니다.

• 호환성 확인하고자하는 PHP 버전을 선택하고, 현재 사용중인 플러그인과 테마만 검사할것인지 아니면 모든 비활성된 플러그인까지 검사할것인지를 선택합니다.
• 마지막으로 맨 밑 "Scan" 버튼을 누르면 호환성 검사가 시작됩니다.

• 검사가 끝나면 아래처럼 검사 결과가 나오며 주의사항 또는 에러 목록이 나타나며 오른편 "Toggle Details"를 클릭하면 어떤 부분에서 오류가 발생되었는지 나타납니다.
